Hey Cancer!

Hey Cancer!

Yet another friend beginning the battle of her life with breast cancer. I say, “ENOUGH!”

  1. Amen to that! Close friend of mine is battling it also, doing run in her name! Your friend is lucky to have a good support network around her! Keep up the fight!

    • Thank you for your kind thoughts.

This friend has a good prognosis as breast cancer caught early, but joins several friends fighting and fighting this stupid cancer.

I lost my sister to bowel cancer at the early age of 60 and we have several friends in ongoing struggles with prostate cancer. Others have spinal and brain tumours, some inoperable or recurring.

      Remorseless cancer!

      Can’t help but be angry.

      • I too have lost many friends and relatives to cancer, it’s heartbreaking. Colon, lung, and breast cancer being the most frequent forms. I’m sorry about your sister, my sister (who just turned 40) is battling ovarian and uterus cancer, two forms the one very aggressive, we don’t think she will make it. My best friend’s sister who is just 50 had double mastectomy and how the cancer has returned in her bones and brain. It’s only a matter of time, she also lost her husband to lung cancer.

I hope you have a good support system to help you through this as well, we suffer too while watching those we love battle and sometimes lose to cancer.
